Easy peasy....I went for a whimsical card that our military personnel would love to send home to their little boys and girls. Plus, since it is still August and in the 80's, I couldn't get myself to use traditional Christmas colors. I used only supplies from my scrapbook stash...white pre-made card, pink card stock trimmed out with leaf green acrylic paint (imperfection is okay, inspired by Donna Downey), triangular shaped green tree embellished with paper from the Dollar Spot @ Target, small green bow for the tree topper and a quick pink "Merry Christmas" stamp. So very easy. My goal is to send a dozen a month.
My crafty Emilie made a note of encouragement to send with our cards. Very cute. I love her thoughfulness and kindness.

What an adorable little christmas tree!! I love the simplicity of it!
I love this happy little tree! It's a great way to use scraps of paper too. I have a little box full of scraps and I'm always looking for ways to use them. I just can't make myself throw them away. :)
Ohhh, your dd, is so cute, and her card is lovely! Good job girlie, you rock!
And mom your card is fantastic too! Love that tree, what a great idea!
Happy days, thanks for supporing the heroes of the USA!
Cute card! And kids too! I do love that you used non-traditional Christmas colors.
I love your card!! I have some pink ribbon that you've inspired me to pull out...I've had it for 2 years but have been hoarding it, but now I need to make a bright holiday card :)
Your daughter and her card are adorable too!!

Great card even if you couldn't find the colors of christmas. who says it has to be red and green anyway! I love it! How great to get your daughter involved!

Your little tree is the best! I love even more that your dd is able to help you with the cards.
That is a blessing in itself.
You've made such a joyful card - love it!

Thanks for sharing.
You've both made lovely cards.
Love your idea of using bits of the papers you have on hand to create your trees. Kinda slides you into Christmas cards without too much shock, lol. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great card! And you are so right - simple cards make it easy to create so many.
Thanks for supporting CFH!
I love your little girl's note of encouragement... somebody will be very happy to get that. :) And I love your non-traditional christmas card too. It's easy to make red and green and blue cards christmassy, but much harder with other colours, and sometimes people want a change of pace.
Adorable card & your dd is awesome too! Thanks for your inspiration & support of CHF.
oh, it's super cute and so cheery! Love the fun colors!
Very cute card, what child wouldn't love to get this from Mommy or Daddy.
