In June of 2011, I decided to participate in the St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon in December 2011. This would have been my first endurance event EVER and I was doing it in honor of my sweet Emilie and for all the kids at St. Jude. Well, a week ago (Nov 16, 2011), Emilie's bone marrow test showed cancer cells. Emilie is back in treatment and my half marathon is now here, helping Emilie beat this nasty cancer. In a week, I will be in Memphis in spirit and hope to participate in the event next year. Now more than ever, I am encouraging you to please visit my FUNDRAISING PAGE to read our story and if felt led, donate. Cancer stinks and no kid should ever have to deal with it. Thank you!!!

One of my favorite lines from a crazy movie>>>
*Reach* out. Take a *chance*. Get *hurt* even. But play as well as you can. Go team, go! Give me an L. Give me an I. Give me a V. Give me an E. L-I-V-E. LIVE! Otherwise, you got nothing to talk about in the locker room.
